b efore... a fter... today's to-do list call cpa to double check taxes are ready to file double check pay off amount of student loans print off dave ramsey budget worksheets catch up on donation documentation call and take sonic survey for a free route 44 drink wash dishes do laundry sweep downstairs mop downstairs water plants call about relay for life info bible study meal plan make out grocery list get refund at grocery on item i was charged to much for water dog clean bathrooms entertain, feed and care for kids blog eat something, sometime shower prepare dinner clean up after dinner kids to ymca for family swim grocery shop pour myself a glass of wine sit down and develop a budget with my hubby (reason why i need the wine) and my husband wonders what I do all day!

h aving a four year old son equals tons of hot wheels, toy airplanes, and army men scattered all over the entire house. daily i find these objects of his affection all over the house. in my cutting board drawer, in my shoes when I am hurriedly trying to rush out the door, in the microwave, the fruit bowl, and this morning, the worse place of all....the bottom of my foot! OUCH!!! i don't recommend buying airplanes with little spiky propellers and wheels if there is any chance you might step on it. besides causing extreme pain to my foot, it came close to breaking my neck as I slid across the kitchen floor!

s o, this is the board that hangs in our kitchen that displays the kids chore charts and our house rules. i walked by it today and realized for the first time, in well over a month, that i have not been changing the date. i pass by this every day, how have i not noticed this? are things really that hectic around here? another question...i wonder if chores have been done since january 13th? probably not!

c hristmas has come and gone, the new year has begun, i have lost a total of 17 pounds since the january 4th, we celebrated martin luther king's birthday, the saints won the super bowl and valentine's day is on sunday, and we have yet to hook up guitar hero that the kids got from santa and the wireless printer/copier/scanner that my husband gave me, still sits in it's box, stacked on top of guitar hero. a bove that sits my new lap top box along with the wii. i don't even notice them being there anymore until people come over and comment on how we still haven't hooked them up and want to know why. t he kids don't even ask to play guitar hero anymore, as i suppose they have given up any kind of hope that it will ever find its way out of the box. t herefore, i am sending this blog out in the void in hopes that if an electronic fairy exists he will lend us a helping hand.
