Setting goals for 2012

This week I am planning and organizing my Goals for 2012.  Instead of making one resolution that I would more than likely break, I am going to attempt several achievable goals.  In blogging them and making them public I hope to hold myself accountable in actually achieving them.  My husband and I are also setting our financial goals that we want to achieve as a family for the year.  I am looking forward to 2012.  I love beginnings and am ready to work towards becoming more productive, more organized and overall being a better mom and wife to my family.  Stay tuned...I will be posting them next week!

the beginning...

Am I really blogging at 11:30 p.m.? As my husband is laying on the couch snoring and my kids are all in bed asleep, here I sit, on this dang computer when I should be in my warm bed asleep. My alarm is going to go off at 5:30 a.m. and I will be kicking my own butt for staying up this late....so, I will make this short! On January 4th I decided it was time to drop all this SAHM weight I have put on in the past year so that I can fit into all those cute skinny clothes that seem to consume my entire closet. And thus far, since January 4th, I have lost a whopping 15 pounds! I am excited beyond words! I have totally changed the way I eat and have started a workout routine that is easy and not too time consuming. I have decided that this is not a diet, but a lifestyle change....and I feel great! I am ready to tackle the next 15 pounds and then 15 more after that! Thank you God for my good health and the ability to make it even better. ~ ksm
